▶ Project Case Background
Batten is a leading brand of technology product logistics in China. The main types of goods are 3C+, high-value, and heavy goods such as commercial equipment.
In the process of rapid business development, there are three development pain points:
1. Full manual operation, and low human efficiency;
2. Non-standard operation, high cargo loss rate;
3. Extensive sorting mode and low process efficiency
▶ Sorting Solution
Our company began to meet customer needs in December 2018, and the technical team went to the customer project site many times to observe the actual operation. After several rounds of technical communication between the two sides, the project plan was determined. The construction was completed in February 2019, and the installation and delivery were completed within 1 month.
The average size of the customer's goods is 600*600mm, and the average weight is 45kg. The project adopts 12 high-speed sorting robots with a specification of 1260mmX950mmX1200mm, which can effectively sort large and heavy goods.
▶ Project Follow-up
After it was put into operation, the daily processing capacity of the site was 40,000 pieces, the production capacity was 4,500 pieces/hour, the operational efficiency was increased from 15 hours to 10 hours, the on-time rate of departure was increased by 50%, the misclassification rate was significantly reduced, and the sorting success rate reached 99%
After a year of smooth operation, the company will implement the project's second phase in 2020.
